D5: Instructions for Researching, Data Collecting and Developing an Individual Case Study Virtual Poster
This discussion will start with an initial posting about your proposed individual case study.
What do you need to do during the first week of Discussion?(Everything needs to be posted by Sunday of the first week)
1. Read the instructions for Assignment 4 and form your group. Don't forget to email your professor by the end of the week (Friday) a list of the members of your group.
2. Your group now will become your support as you work through creating your individual case study virtual poster. Your professor will create a discussion thread for your group and this is the place where you will post related communication in completing assignment 4. Your group maybe joining another group to have more members for the discussion.
3. Your first initial posting should describe the subject of your case study and research question(s). In this posting you should also include why you believe this case study is significant to understanding individuals and their learning processes. Please use this subject heading -- last name + case participant. Don't forget that you will be posting in your group assigned discussion thread.
4. You need to post a reply to your first initial posting describing how you plan to collect data for this case study. Be detailed in your description of your data collection strategy. Please use this subject heading -- last name + case data. Don't forget that you will be posting in your group assigned discussion thread.
5. You need to post a second reply to your first initial posting summarizing 2-3 articles from your annotated bibliography that are relevant to your case study.

In this posting you should explain how the learning theory you selected will help you understand the case participant's behaviors and responses during your observation. Don't forget that you will be posting in your group assigned discussion thread.
3. Read the second initial postings of the members of your discussion thread and provide comment or feedback. Make sure you post comments or feedback to at least two members' second initial postings.
4. Towards the end of the second week of discussion, you need to make a third initial posting with a subject heading label -- last name and "reflections". This initial posting will capture what you learned about researching, data collecting and developing a case study.
5. You are expected to actively participate in the second week of discussion. You are encouraged to do more than what is stated above as minimum expectations for initial postings and replies.
